Changing Settings Using Web Browser
You can check the printer status and change the printer settings using the web browser on your smartphone, tablet, or computer.
To check the printer status and to change the printer settings, display "Remote UI" on the web browser.

Enable the use of Remote UI.
Enable the use of Remote UI by following the steps below.

Select Various settings on HOME screen.

Use button to select Device settings and press OK button.

Use button to select Device user settings and press OK button.

Use button to select Use of Remote UI and press OK button.

Use button to select ON and press OK button.

Check printer's IP address.
Check the printer's IP address by following the steps below.

Select Various settings on HOME screen.

Use button to select Device settings and press OK button.

Use button to select LAN settings and press OK button.

Use button to select Confirm LAN settings and press OK button.

Use button to select LAN setting list or WLAN setting list and press OK button.

Use button to select Yes and press OK button.

Check IPv4 address.

Open web browser on your smartphone, tablet, or computer and enter IP address.
Enter as following in the URL field of the web browser.
http://XXX.XX.X.XXX
Enter the IP address in "XXX.XX.X.XXX".
When you access, the printer information will be displayed on the web browser on your smartphone, tablet, or computer.
If you want to check the printer status and change the printer settings, proceed to the next step. If you do not, close the web browser.

Select Log on to check printer status and change printer settings.
The password authentication screen appears.

Before the password authentication screen appears, a message to warn you that the identification information is not verified may be displayed.
You can set not to display a message by specifying the SSL/TLS settings of certificate for encrypted communication.

When the standard user mode is enabled, choose either administrator mode or standard user mode to log on.

After choosing a mode and selecting Log on, the password authentication screen of each mode appears.

Enter password.
When the password authentication is complete, the menus that can be utilized are displayed on the web browser.

Check printer status and change printer settings.
For changeable setting items, see below.

When you finish checking printer status and changing printer settings, select Log off.

Close web browser.
